CSC introduces ‘cash & carry’ stores for rural areas

Common Services Centres (CSCs) under the Digital India mission, which provide citizen-centric services, has launched ‘cash & carry’ stores, in an endeavour to promote rural marketing and create employment. The first store was launched in Kanth Tehsil of Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh, and CSC will now promote a ‘cash and carry’ store in every block. The store currently sells products of Godrej, Patanjali, Jiva, Crompton, i-Ball and Samsung and has signed agreements with many service providers. CSCs are also selling IFFCO fertilisers and seeds through their vast network. CSC’s launch of cash & carry stores in rural areas is a new business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities involve in-store signage and display projects.
