Colex announces new Sharpcut flatbed cutter

Colex, manufacturer of affordable flatbed cutters, has introduced Sharpcut Flatbed Cutter 3232 that can process boards, vinyl, and textiles measuring up to 10×10 ft via automatic board and roll feeders. This newly introduced Sharpcut 3232 also features an automatic conveyor table with a triple interchangeable tool head station (fixed knife, oscillating knife, and router), a six-zone vacuum system, and vision registration system. The Optiscout registration system of the cutter features a high-resolution colour camera; plugin to export data from CorelDraw, Illustrator, and AutoCAD; and a material library. It can reportedly read registration marks of any diameter and is compatible with more than 30 file formats.

The oscillating knife of Colex sharpcut flatbed cutter can cut up to 14,000 strokes per min. In addition, the cutter includes new tools such as a universal drawing attachment, V-cut knife for 90-degree folds, Coroplast knife, creasing wheel, universal single-edge knife for Sintra up to 6 mm, and a motorized rotary knife for fabrics.
