Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi to set up 100 experience stores in India

Set to be unveiled this year, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Inc announces that they have decided to open 100 stores in India to help consumers in the world’s third-largest smartphone market “experience” the company’s devices. Xiaomi, whose low-priced but feature-rich smartphones have made it the biggest smartphone vendor in China, entered India in July and sells its phones primarily through flash sales on online retailers. Now the opening of the physical store will help the customers know the in-depth features of Xiaomi smartphones and such move of the Chinese company will offer signage players new business opportunity in in-shop branding, designs and related tasks.
