Chaayos to open 50 more new cafes

Chaayos, a café that serves customized tea, is planning to open 50 more tea cafes in next 18 months. The company is looking at pan-India presence. Promoted by Sunshine Tea House, Chaayos is looking to raise $6 million for its expansion. Gurgaon-based Chaayos, which currently has eight cafes in the National Capital Region (NCR) centred on New Delhi, will add 15 to 17 stores in the NCR and another 25 in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune over the next one-and-a-half years. Chaayos’ addition of 50 new cafes in the major Indian cities will provide a fresh business opportunity for the signage players whose activities revolve around in-shop branding, fabrication, designs and graphics.
