Canon plans to set up outlets in six cities

Digital imaging company Canon India decides to set up six outlets across the country over the next few months. These outlets named ‘Prozone’ will display 160 products under one roof and would be set up on the franchisee model in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The company has been witnessing tremendous growth in Tier-II cities on sales of its flagship model ‘digital single lens reflector (DSLR)’ cameras and the expansion of new stores offers sunshine opportunity to the signage sector where signage suppliers and in-store media companies will get a new landscape to exploit.
