Caldera now supports Durst hybrid UV printer

Caldera has announced the support of the new Durst P5 350-HS printer for CalderaRIP Version 15. The Durst P5 350-HS is a hybrid UV solution suiting a wide range of applications, including indoor and outdoor applications, corrugated packaging, signage and advertising and industrial decoration. With an exceptional productivity (up to 650sqm/hour), this UV printer will suit the most demanding production environments.

Caldera’s RIP software embeds the X-Rite i1Prism Profiler for ICC profiling, as well as premium colour management tools to keep control over a user’s colours and ensure smooth gradients on all types of substrates. InkPerformer (an optional cost module) module has been developed in association with colour expert Alwan. This ink-saving option has been designed to help inkjet printers reduce their ink consumption while maintaining colour accuracy and improving grey neutrality.
