Bombay Dyeing to open more stores in Tamil Nadu

Focusing on retail business, the 137-year-old textile manufacturer Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company has big plans for Tamil Nadu. The company registered revenue of Rs 306 crore last fiscal. There are 25 company-owned Bombay Dyeing stores and franchises across nine towns in Tamil Nadu. The company plans to increase it to 75 stores, which will be a mixture of company-owned and franchise model, across 40 towns in the State, by 2020. The will be entering 20 towns through franchises in the next one year. This big expansion move of Bombay Dyeing is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose activities revolve around in-store displays, designs and such activities.
