Unveiled during the Media Expo Mumbai 2019, Apsom Infotex has announced the launch of Roland VersaUV S-Series direct-to-substrate UV flatbed and belt printers. Pushing the boundaries of UV printing, the new S-Series printers deliver stunning quality graphics, photographic images, textures and embossed effects on virtually any substrate or object, rigid or flexible, up-to 200 mm in height and 100 kg/sqm in weight. The printers are available in choice of 3 ink configurations—CMYK + White + Gloss; CMYK + White + White; CMYK + Gloss + Gloss.
“Available as standard, White and Gloss inks offer even greater versatility and add touches of brilliance and bright colour quality on dark and transparent surfaces with White ink. Plus, with Gloss ink one can deliver stylish textured and embossed effects in both gloss and matt finishes,” emphasizes Paramjeet Gill, Product Manager, Apsom Infotex Ltd. The new Se-Series belt printer is designed to deliver maximum productivity and versatility with minimum footprints. The continuous suction belt of the printer enables substrates and objects to be added to the belt for a non-stop production workflow. Paramjeet mentions that the launch of Roland VersaUV S-Series at Media Expo Mumbai 2019 marks the first arrival of the printers in the Asian market.
