Amitoje Creations installs two Jeti printers

The scope of large format digital printing is growing tremendously and those who want to lead the race are equipping themselves with top-of-the-line printers to tap this growing market.  Leading signage manufacturer in New Delhi – Amitoje Creations, a sister concern of Top Class Sales Pvt Ltd – is set to grow its installation base of large format printers by installing two Jeti printers from Gandinnovations. The first printer has already been installed at their premises at Okhla, New Delhi. This is a Jeti 3324 solvent printer, which is a 10.5 feet roll-to-roll solvent printer, using 24 Spectra printheads. It can print at a high resolution of 600 dpi.

After the upcoming Fespa World show in New Delhi (December 7-9, 2007), the company is set to install Jeti 3150 UV flatbed printer with 24 Spectra printheads. It provides high speed graphics in 6 colour with 1200 dpi and achieves 40 sqm/hr (450 sqft/hr) speed in best quality mode. True flatbed table, using linear motion to control movement, ensures perfect registration on rigid and flexible materials. Other features include easy loading and unloading of large and heavy material by one person due to the print area being very accessible. A strong sectional vacuum table holds virtually any rigid material in place up to 5 cm (2″) in thickness. White ink and clear varnish option give even more versatility.

As per K S Juneja of Amitoje Creations, “The large format digital printing market is on a growth path and there will be an increase in demand for flatbed printing in India. The installation of these Jeti printers is one of the biggest investments for our company.”

Not only this, Jeti UV flatbed printer has an option to use FlexForm UV inks, which can print on acrylic and can be thermoformed, using specific machine. “Perhaps the most interesting application is the use of FlexForm UV inks to produce vacuum formable images. The Jeti 1224 flatbeds use FlexForm UV inks and are able to print on materials such as acrylic, which can be then formed within minutes,” told Juneja.
