AGFA Graphics to launch LED version of Jeti Tauro at FESPA 2017

AGFA Graphics is gearing up to launch LED version of its Jeti Tauro H2500 LED, a flagship machine in the company’s wide-format UV inkjet portfolio, at the FESPA 2017 at Hamburg (8 – 12 May 2017). This 2.5m wide hybrid UV inkjet printer with an integrated roll-to-roll system features continuous and automated feeding of a wide range of flexible and rigid media, including several types of corrugated board. This Jeti Tauro model relies on LED-curing technology as an alternative for the high energy-consuming mercury bulb lamps.

AGFA Graphics’ automated Asanti workflow software will be driving the engine of the Jeti Tauro H2500 LED. It optimises and automates the preparation, production and finishing steps of signage products. The core includes automation, color management, pre-flighting, and job templates. In addition, AGFA Graphics’ specially-formulated UV LED inks can print on a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates guaranteeing outstanding print quality and perfect physical characteristics such as adhesion. These include heat-sensitive substrates such as thin slides, self-adhesive sheets and stretchable PVC materials.
