Canon Colorado 1650 printer and its UVgel 460 ink are now part of the 3M MCS warranty program. This means that the Colorado 1650 with UVgel 460 ink is guaranteed to print well on 3M media. Applications covered by this program include vehicle wraps, signage, billboards and floor graphics. The 3M MCS program offers a comprehensive warranty for the expected life of the printed media including protection against fading, cracking, peeling, blistering, fading and many other aspects of graphic performance, says a release from Canon. To ensure this, the 64-inch printer and its UVgel 460 inks passed a series of extensive tests. For example, the printed media was tested for weather resistance.
